The Internet Governance Forum has become a fundamental space for inclusive dialogue and collaboration between diverse actors, including governments, civil society, private sector, technical and academic community. Intersessional Committees play a crucial role in facilitating in-depth discussions on crucial issues affecting the present and future of the Internet.

  • Human rights
  • Cybersecurity

Each IWG must be presented by at least 2 different sectors, and will have as leadership figures at least 2 co-coordinators representing two different sectors.

The IWG must work periodically and be open to the participation of all sectors, documenting and publishing their progress.

The presentation of an annual work plan is requested, which will be taken into account for the selection of the IWG.

The IWG must produce an annual report that incorporates findings (opportunities, challenges, trends), work progress and conclusions in accordance with the reporting format that will be required by the CMPI.
